Day 3. Istria Tour – Plitvice
Istria tour is also a full day tour and takes you to the Istria, a peninsula on the northern Adriatic which is often referred to as the Croatian Tuscany. It has become a cliche but the mixture of green hilly inland and the beautiful coast with the cities with Roman architecture and heritage is stunning. You can choose the 3 cities in Istria you would like to visit but we usually recommend: Hum (the smallest city in the world), Rovinj (the pearl of the Adriatic) and Pula (Arena – the best preserved roman amphitheater in the world).
Overnight Plitvice Lakes.
Day 4. Plitvice – Zadar – Split
The day starts with a walk inside Plitvice Lakes national park and also UNESCO heritage. We will take the best route in the park so you can enjoy the best views and take the best photos. Next is Zadar city which is also a UNESCO heritage, but also a modern city with interesting things such as The greeting to the sun and the Sea organ. Enjoy the city and if you like check out what Hitchcock called the most beautiful sunset in the world.
Overnight Split
Day 5. Split & Trogir
Today is reserved for Split and it’s surroundings. A walking tour of Split will show you and tell you all about the history but you will also be able to see how the city lives today and that history actually is intertwined with the present day. The Diocletian’s palace is actually the only Roman palace where people still live in it.
Other than Split visit Trogir. This little city and it’s historical core deserve a bit of your time. Also on the UNESCO list, be sure to visit the Cathedral.
Overnight Split.
Day 6. Split – Dubrovnik
The drive from Split to Dubrovnik is also a part of our itinerary. We have an option where you can choose the route you wish to take. One option is a day tour that includes Bosnia & Herzegovina, or better to say a visit to Mostar ( mixture of cultures where the West meets the East). Other option is that you stay inside Croatia and decide to visit Ston where you can taste the oysters by which it is known for and Pelješac peninsula and the best Croatian wineries.

Today it’s all about the Slovenian natural beauties. Postojna cave is the biggest cave you can visit in Europe and it’s the home to the ”human fish” or ”baby dragons”, a small animal typical for the karst area and can be found only in Croatia and Slovenia. Just 10 min away there is the best preserved medieval castle which is embedded in a rock. Next is Bled Lake where you can visit the island or the castle.
