Day tour from Zagreb to Zadar via Plitvice lakes itinerary

This day trip can be a part of your bigger travel through Croatia. It starts in Zagreb when we pick you up at your accommodation. This way you don’t need to worry about your luggage because it will be with us all the time.

Your first stop will be at Rastoke millers village. This village is a great intro in the park itself. People call it Little Plitvice because it’s waterfalls like in the Lakes, just with little mills, houses built in between them. It is a great place where you have time to take photos or if the tour starts early to have a cup of coffee or tea on a terrace over the noisy falls.

Just 30 minutes away and you will arrive at Plitvice Lakes national park. This park has all the superlatives depicting it – the oldest, the most visited, the biggest… You can choose the route of your visit and how much time you wish to spend here. Usually we take a walk through Upper and Lower Lakes which takes approximately 4 hours (we always adjust the walk to our clients).

A bit less than 2 hours and you will be in Zadar. The guide will leave you at your accommodation.
