Rastoke millers village is a harmonious ”marriage” of man and nature that has a history of 300 years. The stunning waterfalls of rivers Slunjčica and Korana are like decorated with the small mills. Plitvice lakes national park is just half an hour away. It is the first Croatian national park and it is on the UNESCO worls heritage list from 1997. It covers an area close to 300 square kilometers. The Lakes you will visit make just 1% of the whole park. The Lakes cascade from one to another. On the biggest lake you will have a boat ride. We don’t include entrance fees for our tours for several reasons. One reason is that people sometimes decide not to enter a certain destination/attraction and it’s not possible to get a refund from the park. The second reason is that if you buy Plitvice Lakes entrance fee online you can use you benefits (if you are retired, a student, children). The tickets can also be bought on the spot, at the beginning of the tour which makes it easier for us depending on the route of the sightseeing that you chose.
Yes, you can get a refund if you decide not to take the tour without any penalties. We would like to ask you that you try to do it at least a day earlier if possible.
Even though we like our reservations in advance so we can make our plans, we are very flexible with all our reservations, so you can even book the Tour to Plitvice Lakes on the same day.
If you are taking our Plitvice Lakes national park tour, please bring comfortable clothing and footwear (appropriate for the season in which you are visiting). If you are coming in summer then you should have sun protection, light clothes, a hat… In the winter time you can expect snow and ice on the paths, even a strong wind so winter clothes is a must. In any other time a raincoat in your backpack is a great idea.
