Best of Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro Tour
This option is for the ones that have limited time.
Day 1 Zagreb – airport pick up & city tour
The first day is dedicated to Zagreb, the Croatian capital. After our driver picks you up at the airport you can get some rest and then do the walking tour of the city. Zagreb is known as a central European city with a Mediterranean soul. It means that you will see the architecture you can usually see in other European capitals, but the vibe that you can feel in the city is more typical for the cities on the coast. The coffee drinking culture on open terraces is really typical for Zagreb. You will visit all the most popular spots like the Main ban Jelačić square, Cathedral, Dolac Market, Stone gate, Sta Mark’s church, Zagreb funicular and Zrinjevac park.
Overnight Zagreb.
Day 2 Slovenia Tour – Bled, Postojna & Ljubljana
On the second day the plan is to spend the whole day in Slovenia, visiting the three most popular destinations: Postojna cave, Bled lake and Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital. Postojna cave is a natural gem, a cave system of 25 kilometres. The visit to the cave is fully organized with an official cave guide. Next destination is Bled Lake where you have many options to choose from: you can take the pletna boat to Bled island, you can taste the Bled cream cake or visit the Bled castle with the most beautiful view of the surroundings. We end the tour with Ljubljana, the Slovenian capital. You will take a walk through the city center and enjoy the city.
Overnight Zagreb.
Day 3 Istria Tour – 3 cities
The third day is dedicated to Istria. Many times people have referred to Istria as the Croatian Tuscany. In Istria the hilly green inland with medieval cities joins the blue coastline with Roman heritage and architecture. On this day you can choose the three cities you wish to visit, depending what is in the center of you interest. Usually we recommend Pula, because of the best preserved amphitheater in the world, Hum, the smallest city in the world and Rovinj, the gorgeous coastal city with colorful buildings and narrow streets.
Overnight Plitvice lakes.
Day 4 Plitvice – Bihać – Sarajevo
The forth day starts with sightseeing of Plitvice Lakes national park. Plitvice are listed as UNESCO heritage and the stunning 16 lakes in the park and the waterfalls connecting them will leave you speechless. After the park, you will continue to the city of Bihać – a very important city in the terms of it’s significance in the wars led in this area. After a short sightseeing of the city you will continue your route to Sarajevo, the Bosnian capital.
Overnight Sarajevo.
Day 5 Sarajevo – Mostar – Počitelj – Split
The day will start with a short walking tour of the Sarajevo city center. Sarajevo is often called the ”Jerusalem of Europe” because of it’s cultural and religious diversity. It is also the city with a long history and with the recent Balkan war which left a strong mark on the city itself.
After the tour and some time in the city, you will continue with a transfer to Split. It won’t be just a transfer because you will make a few stops along the way. You will stop in Mostar to see the famous bridge also listed as UNESCO heritage, the bridge that connects the East and the West. There are also two more destinations, Počitelj – the city of stunning architecture and Blagaj, with the spring of Buna river and the traditional tekke.
Overnight in Split.
Day 6 Split – Dubrovnik
Split is the biggest city in Dalmatia and a city with an overwhelming heritage. It was developed around a summer palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian. The king chose this spot as his summer residence and the palace, now listed as UNESCO heritage, is still a ”living part” of the city. You will take a walking tour and get to know the city and it’s history.
After spending some time in Split, you will continue the tour with a transfer to Dubrovnik.
In Dubrovnik we will organize a walking tour for you to get familiar with the city (if you are a GOT fan we can organize a specialized tour).
Overnight Dubrovnik.
Day 7 Montenegro Tour
On the 7th day you will take a day tour to Montenegro from Dubrovnik getting to know the cities like Perast, Kotor and Budva.

Day 6 Split – Dubrovnik
Split is the second biggest city in Croatia and we are sure when we say that the people there love their city above all other things. It is a city built around the Roman emperor Diocletian’s palace which is in a way still functional because it’s the only palace in the world where people still live in it.
After sightseeing of Split the route continues to Dubrovnik.
