TROGIR UNESCO
The city of Trogir was formed by the Greek colonist from the island of Vis in the 3rd century BC. In central Europe, it is considered to be the best preserved Roman-Gothic city. Interesting thing about the city that here was opened the first pharmacy in Europe, in the 13th century. The city was governed by Venice for more then 4 centuries which effected it’s development. The old party of the city is listed as UNESCO heritage in 1997. Now days Trogir is an important tourist destination in Croatia and it was visited by many famous people: George Bernard Shaw, King Edward the VIII, Bernie Ecclestone…
OUR TIP: Take a walk through the city streets.
