This little village is located just 30 minutes away from Plitvice Lakes National park. It was built 300 years ago and it’s a proof that harmony is possible between the man and the nature. A famous Croatian author said it’s the Croatian Fontana di Trevi. The little houses were actually mills constructed above the waterfalls of 2 rivers. Nowadays these houses have their touristic purpose but many of them are still residences for local people. There is also a legend about fairies visiting the village and the most beautiful waterfalls is named Fairies hair. People say you can still see them play on the falls if you really want to.
