LOTRŠČAK TOWER – ZAGREB CANON
Lotrščak tower is also one of the recognizable symbols of Zagreb. It is also one of the best preserved objects of the Zagreb defense system. It was built next to the little entrance gate to the city. The tower is a fortifying object with 30 meters of height. Today’s appearance it got in the 19th century. It is well known to all the to locals and to the tourists that visit Zagreb. On the top floor you can find the famous Zagreb canon. This canon strikes noon every day and it became a real attraction itself.
